Drains that gurgle, empty slowly, or back up without warning are the most common plumbing calls we receive across Baltimore. We clear kitchen, bathroom, floor, and main lines, and our emergency crews handle drain clearing across the Baltimore Metro for situations that cannot wait for morning. Every job starts by finding the cause, not just pushing the clog further down the line.
Kitchen sink that drains slowly or not at all
Shower or tub standing full of water
Toilet gurgling or backing up when the sink runs
Main line backing up into the basement or lowest drain
Grease-clogged line in a restaurant or commercial kitchen
Tree roots blocking an older sewer lateral
Sewage smell rising from a floor or basement drain
Several drains running slow at once across the house
Outdoor or storm drain overflowing after heavy rain
Method
For a simple clog in a branch or main line, a cable is the right tool. We feed the snake through the line to break apart or pull out the blockage, then confirm the drain flows freely. Cable clearing works well when the pipe is sound, and the clog is localized.
When grease, scale, or root intrusion has built up along the pipe walls, a cable clears a path but leaves the buildup behind. High-pressure jetting scours the interior of the pipe back to clean, restoring full capacity and keeping the line clear longer. We use jetting on lines that clog repeatedly or on commercial and restaurant drains that handle heavy grease loads.
Not every clog needs jetting, and not every slow drain needs a camera first. We start with the least invasive method that fits what we find on site. If a cable does not clear the line completely or the camera shows more serious damage, we move to the appropriate next step and confirm the reason with the customer before proceeding.
Tell us which drain is backing up and how bad it is, and we set a time, often the same day.
A plumber checks the fixture and the line, running a camera when the cause is not clear from the fixture alone.
We clear the clog with the right method for that line: a cable for localized blockages or high-pressure jetting for grease buildup and root intrusion.
Our team runs water through the line and checks the flow to confirm the drain is fully clear before we leave.
